On 15 October 2026, an information session on the Erasmus+ programme took place for Cameroonian institutions. The presenters shared their slides, which we have gathered here for anyone who could not attend.

Capacity building in higher education (CBHE) 2026

  • CBHE supports international cooperation projects that focus on the needs of countries not associated with the programme. Their aim is to modernise higher education institutions and systems and make them more relevant and responsive.
  • Three kinds of projects are possible: national projects, multi-country regional projects, and multi-country trans-regional projects.
  • Three strands are offered:
    • Strand 1: access to cooperation, 24 or 36 months, €200,000–€400,000.
    • Strand 2: partnerships for transformation, 24 or 36 months, €400,000–€800,000.
    • Strand 3: structural reform projects, 36 or 48 months, €600,000–€1,000,000.
  • The 2026 priorities are the green deal (new this year), digital transformation, migrant integration, governance, peace, security and human development, and sustainable growth and jobs. Alignment with Global Gateway priorities is optional, but is recommended in Strand 3.

Vocational training (CBVET)

The session also covered CBVET, with a testimonial from the Innavet project.
