National Youth Camp 2026 Brings Together Youth for a Prosperous Cameroon

The National Youth Camp 2026 (3rd Edition) is set to unite young people from across Cameroon for an inspiring, high-impact national gathering focused on leadership, citizenship, and opportunity.

Theme: Youth and Citizenship for a Prosperous Cameroon
Dates: 4–6 February 2026
Venue: Matéko Stadium, University of Yaoundé I, Yaoundé

Organized by the Cameroon National Youth Council in collaboration with CONEP and International Youth Fellowship, and held under the coordination of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, the camp is designed to empower youth as active partners in building a peaceful and prosperous nation.

Why This Camp Matters

Young people make up a significant portion of Cameroon’s population and are a driving force for innovation, social cohesion, and economic growth. The camp responds to real challenges facing youth today—such as unemployment, social incivility, drug abuse, and the spread of hate speech—by promoting positive values, practical skills, and national unity.

What Participants Will Experience

Over three days, participants will take part in:

• Mindset & Leadership Sessions – Personal development, resilience, and positive thinking

• Elite Conferences (Success Stories) – Inspiring talks from respected public figures and professionals

• Skills & Vocational Academies – Hands-on exposure to technical and income-generating skills

• Civic Engagement Activities – Citizenship education and community responsibility initiatives

• Cultural & Talent Showcases – Dance, music, performance, and creative expression

• Grand Youth Concert – A major closing celebration of youth unity and talent

Who Can Join?

The camp is open to young men and women aged 15–35 from all ten regions of Cameroon.

Participation is completely free.
(Participants are responsible for their own transport to and from the venue.)
