The CNYC East Regional Bureau, under the leadership of its President Cesar Sacremento ABO, organized on November 29, 2025, at the CMPJ hall in Lom and Djerem, a major workshop aimed at combating hate speech and promoting social cohesion in the East Region. This initiative was carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the NCPBM and the CNYC East Regional Bureau.

The workshop was chaired by the Divisional Delegate for Youth Affairs and Civic Education (DDJEC) for Lom and Djerem, Mr. Victor MBELEBINA, and attended by the Secretary General NEB of the CNYC, Mr. Messambe Cédric, personal representative of the National President. The event also brought together MINJEC officials and several youth leaders, including youth parliamentarians, refugee leaders, young political party representatives, motorcycle taxi representatives, and local CNYC presidents.

Discussions focused on civic responsibility, prevention of hate speech, and the attitudes required to preserve social cohesion. Special attention was given to the tensions recorded in the East Region following the presidential election of October 12, 2025.

The workshop provided a platform to assess the post-electoral situation, identify remaining risks, and draw essential lessons to maintain peace and harmony among the populations.
